Dear Mr and Mrs Duggar, you have been instrumental in bringing me back to our Lord. Mrs Duggar, it was watching you gently correcting your little ones, while praising God and trusting in Him that spoke to me. Specifically, you had asked God for increased patience while parenting lively toddlers. You then said that God had answered your prayers already, by giving you the opportunity to practise patience in those challenging moments. You were therefore learning how to grow your patience and becoming better at it.
This put a completely different perspective on my life and I started to try to think in this way.
I am so grateful for your guidance and for the blessings your family has brought to me.

While I do not share your religion, I have watched your family for many years and have come to appreciate what some may perceive as “old fashioned family values”.

My heart is breaking for you all – especially Anna and her kids. I used to watch your show and was so impressed by how she handled the first scandal. I recall her saying that she was trying to just do the next right thing. Her humility and grace made such an impression on me. When I heard of this news this week, my heart immediately went toward her. I prayed much of the night for her and the song “The Blessing” from Elevate Worship (the live version) kept playing over and over in my spirit. I hope she sees this and I hope she feels the prayers of so many across this nation for her. I know sometimes the loudest voices are not always the kindest, but know the quiet ones are probably praying for you. God works all things together for good for those who love Him and have been called according to His purpose.

The allegations against Josh are so heartbreaking. If they are true, then he needs our love, support and prayers; not our judgment or condemnation. If they are false, then we need to stand with Josh as he stands up to those seeking to destroy his family’s name. Unfortunately, until the investigation and trial are over, we won’t really know what is true in this situation. Given his past behavior, I think many fans are inclined to believe that these accusations are true. No matter what, I believe that God is going to continue to work in Josh’s life, help him to repent of any kind of sin. Your family has been such an inspiration to the world, and I hope that despite these allegations, you’ll continue to let us celebrate the wonderful blessings God has given you.

My continued prayers are with you for Josh as the truth is revealed, I have no idea what the lesson is behind this but I know my God will bring it all to light. In the meantime I pray for Anna. the beautiful children and of course that entire rest family be shielded from the hatred of the World. I don’t listen to the World, my Spirit tells me what I’m to know , He has NEVER lead me astray. I will continue to rely on my Spirit, believing only in Jesus and His Word.
I’m just finding this so hard right now. Josh is a wonderful father, knowing he did some very regrettable things in his early years something about this is not sitting well with me, I do not know what happened nor do I believe everything that is in the media or every investigation is what it appears. I’m not saying people shouldn’t pray for the Duggar Family, but I’m just so saddened that not one comment above puts the children that have been abused and exploited first in their thoughts and prayers.

Finally a comment about the innocent children involved.
If the truth reveals that Satan lead Josh to stray in such a terrible way, I offer up a prayer to the victims as well. A prayer for all victims of abuse as they are innocent children of God.
