As we celebrate the joy of the Christmas season, let’s rewind the clock to a Christmas Eve 40 years ago. It was around 6 pm when I took a heartfelt leap of faith that would change our lives forever.

On that memorable night, I knelt down on one knee and asked Michelle Ruark the most important question of my life. Her radiant smile and the resounding “Yes!!!” set the stage for a journey that has become a cherished life together as husband and wife.

As we fast forward through four decades, my love for Michelle has only grown. Michelle, you are not just my wife; you are my best friend, beautiful both inside and out! The sweetness of your spirit consistently inspires and brings joy to everyone around you.

You are an incredible mother and amazing grandmother, adding layers of love and warmth to our lives together. Your presence has blessed me, your family, and the world in countless ways!
