hoursThis is a family favorite! We regularly make it for guests too, and everyone loves it! It literally takes 5 minutes to throw this in the crockpot, which makes this one of my top go-to meals.
Ingredients
5-8 frozen chicken breasts
1 large onion, diced
3, 15oz. cans tomato sauce (can sub 1-2 cans diced tomatoes for varied texture)
3 packets Tikka Masala Seasoning (Originally found at Walmart, but not all carry them. Now I buy it on Amazon)
- Add later:
1 1/2 cups heavy cream (can sub 13oz can coconut milk)
Cilantro (optional)
Directions
- In large crockpot, place frozen chicken breasts, onion, tomato sauce and Tikka Masala seasoning.
- Cook on low for 7-8 hrs.
- About 30 min before serving, shred chicken with two forks, and add heavy cream.
- Serve over rice, and garnish with cilantro!
So excited to try this out! I love Indian food to begin with.
