This is a family favorite! We regularly make it for guests too, and everyone loves it! It literally takes 5 minutes to throw this in the crockpot, which makes this one of my top go-to meals.

Ingredients

  • 5-8 frozen chicken breasts

  • 1 large onion, diced

  • 3, 15oz. cans tomato sauce (can sub 1-2 cans diced tomatoes for varied texture)

  • 3 packets Tikka Masala Seasoning (Originally found at Walmart, but not all carry them. Now I buy it on Amazon)

  • Add later:
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream (can sub 13oz can coconut milk)

  • Cilantro (optional)

Directions

  • In large crockpot, place frozen chicken breasts, onion, tomato sauce and Tikka Masala seasoning.
  • Cook on low for 7-8 hrs.
  • About 30 min before serving, shred chicken with two forks, and add heavy cream.
  • Serve over rice, and garnish with cilantro!
