Hi, I’m Jana!

I live pretty spontaneously in many avenues of my life, but my morning routine is usually always the same. Two eggs, and a cup of medium roast coffee with a teaspoon of sugar and a splash of half & half.

Plants are my hobby, as is evidenced by my ever-growing collection of indoor greens. In the spring and summer, I find it relaxing and rewarding to get outdoors and get my hands dirty planting vegetables, herbs, berries, flowers and such.

I love road trips and travel, whether it’s visiting historical places, going on mission trips, or visiting friends and family. But the homebody in me always looks forward to coming back home. I love the familiarity of a small hometown, trips to the hardware store (sometimes multiple times in one day), drive-through coffee, family, friends, church, and community involvement such as visiting the veteran’s home.

I love interior design, renovation, and all things DIY. And with so many family members into flipping houses, construction and real estate, I’m never short on opportunities to do what I love! It seems I’m usually juggling several projects at one time, and I love that I get to spend so much of my time with the people I love most.
