Josh and Anna have seven kids, Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Meredith, Mason, Maryella, and Madyson. They love spending time together, whether it’s an evening at home playing board games, or venturing out to a local park with a van load of bikes, scooters, roller blades and anything else with wheels! They love taking family RV trips, one of their highlights so far being their family vacation of 2019 where they traveled out to the west cost and the kids got to see the Grand Canyon for the first time. However, a top favorite road trip destination will always be Florida—getting to spend time with Anna’s family!

Mackynzie is the oldest. She’s lively, outgoing, creative, and loves sewing and crafting. She’s an animated storyteller, and anytime she reads aloud, she‘s surrounded by a pile of kids who are hanging on her every word. She also has a beautiful voice and can regularly be heard singing around the house!

Michael is a thoughtful, hard worker, and absolutely loves it whenever he gets to spend time with the big guys, working on car repairs or construction projects. He’s sensitive and compassionate, the first to be on scene if someone falls or scrapes a knee. He’s a great brother, often coming up with fun games and activities to do with his siblings.

Marcus is enthusiastic and energetic. He has two speeds—run and sleep. He’s a nature-loving, bug-catching boy. Whether rain or shine, he can usually be found wandering around outside with an adventurous grin on his face, dirt on his hands, and toting a bug cage with at least three different species of insects inside. He has an amazing memory, and nearly every conversation with him includes a newsflash about some new creature he’s been studying— giving you multiple facts about their diet, habits and habitat.

Meredith is outgoing and exuberant, with a winsome smile and bubbly laughter. She makes friends easily, and has had an advanced vocabulary from quite a young age. She loves conversing with all the big people as if she were their age, being sure to ask them all the important questions such as favorite color, favorite animal, etc. She’s a natural leader, and enjoys giving directions to all of the younger cousins—directing them in the games they play or the impromptu performances they put on!

Mason is a busy and active little guy, following his older siblings around and attempting to do the nearly everything they do—usually succeeding and surprising us all with his level of skill and ability! He’s bold and adventurous. He’s very talkative, often using big words or phrases that he hears from older people and making us chuckle.

Maryella is a talkative little girl who has an infectious giggle, and gives the best hugs. In a bustling household of five older siblings, she does her best to keep up and join in on all the fun of the bigger ones! From the gentle way she holds her siblings’ hands to the genuine warmth that comes from her sweet smile, she is adored by all!

Madyson is a priceless little girl. We can’t imagine life without this darling baby. She’s a ray of sunshine and she brings joy to everyone she meets. We’re so blessed to have her in our lives!
