Creamy Tomato Soup

1 stick butter 🧈
1 medium onion, diced 🧅
1 tsp Italian seasoning 🧂
2, 28-oz cans diced tomatoes 🍅
1 cup heavy cream 🥛 🐮 (more or less, depending on how creamy you like it!)
Directions
- Melt butter, and sauté onion 5-7 min.
- Add Italian seasoning and diced tomatoes.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Mix in heavy cream, and serve! Top with a bit of mozzarella cheese and fresh basil if you like!
