Congratulations! A baby is such a blessing! We live in NH and when my husband and I got married back in 2011 at the age of 21 people thought we were crazy and told us we were too young and to wait for children. We did wait until 2013 and have a one year old daughter who is the light of our life. She taught us that waiting on blessings is not how we want our family to be based. Now we follow The Lord’s will and let him decide. It’s so wonderful to see your family following this same path and bringing light to the fact that marriage and children are blessings and allowing God to decide is best. We love knowing there are other families out there like ours, as we live in an area where marrying young and having children young isn’t common. We cannot wait to see your pregnancy unfold and will be praying for a healthy happy baby and mama! God bless you both!

Congratulations Ben an Jessa! My husband and I are first time parents as well. It is an amazing journey with many surprises. The Lord blessed us with our little girl, Addyson Faye in January. She has a rare metabolic disorder called MCADD. This was found on her newborn screening. I truly believe the Lord placed her with us for a reason, just as he will place your sweet blessing with you guys. Being a parent is an amazing blessing. Congratulations again. God bless 🙂

It is very encouraging to see that God will honor my desire to be pure for my future husband, whoever that may be when the time comes, and that there is still hope for a big family and that my son will get some siblings someday. The journey to parenthood is a long one, but well worth it. To Jessa, dear, these next 6-ish months are only going to get harder as you get bigger. Remember that the little joy growing inside of you is worth all of the hard work your body is going through. Our church is very tiny, more like a pioneer work. There aren’t many sound Christians in our country.
