Josie is the youngest member of our family, and our 19th child. She is such a lively, spunky little girl! Her smile is joyful, and her laughter is contagious.

Josie was born prematurely at 25 weeks weighing just 1 lb., 6oz. at birth. We prayed (along with thousands of others!) that God would spare her life and gift her strength and energy to live and thrive. God has certainly answered those prayers! Josie is a ball of energy. From the time she wakes up in the morning until her head hits the pillow at night, she rarely slows down.

Since the time Josie was little, we knew she had a special gifting in music. Even at two years of age, she would walk around the house belting out songs with near-perfect pitch. Her singing and piano playing fill our home nearly every day! Josie has several pet mice, which she loves and adores—she likes to tote them about on her shoulder as she goes about her daily routine. Josie is a deep thinker and asks thought-provoking questions. She also looks just like her mom did when she was her age!
