Indonesian Fried Rice

by | Jan 12, 2015 | 0 comments

Duggar sized batch:

5 cups rice (cooked)

Olive oil

6 cloves garlic (minced)

2 packages turkey sausage, sliced 1/4 in. thick (or substitute with any meat of your choice)

8 eggs

4 packets Indonesian rice seasoning (We buy ours from our local Asian Market. This type comes in a liquid/paste form. You can purchase packets that are less spicy if that is what your family prefers)

Pour about 1/4 cup olive oil into large skillet, along with minced garlic & meat. Add eggs and stir. Cook till eggs are no longer runny. Set aside.

Add more oil to your skillet. Pour cooked rice into skillet, and add Indonesian rice seasoning. Stir until all rice is covered in seasoning.

Add in the eggs/meat and stir for a few more minutes.

Serve, and enjoy!
