It helps my heart to talk about my miscarriage of Jubilee. I know it's difficult sometimes for people to really know what to say, and I know I felt that way at times in the past when I realized that someone had lost a baby that they were carrying and I wasn't sure how to best console them. But I think being able to acknowledge that there was a little one -- a precious life -- helps.
Our family loves Valentine's Day and always looks forward to it. My husband Jim Bob and I like to have a special day to celebrate it, either before or on the day of Valentine's. We write sweet notes to each other, which is something we do all the time -- we'll write a little sticky note and leave it somewhere for each other to find, or we'll leave each other a voice mail. But on Valentine's Day...
In a large family like ours, keeping up with the chores is just a fact of life. We have different chores, or jurisdictions, that our kids are responsible for, and we have a chore chart to keep track of all of them.

2011 ATI Regional Conference
Over the years, one of the most encouraging things we have attended as a family is the annual
ATI Regional Training Conference. Raising children that are dedicated completely to serving God is tough in today's morally corrupt society, and it really helps to have a place to go to "recharge your batteries" and fellowship with others who are headed in the same direction.
